Absolutely amazing food! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the presentation was good. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

We were driving through Oakhurst after a long day at Yosemite and decided to stop for some dinner at the Bigfoot Bakery and Grill. I am so glad were did. I had the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I have ever eaten. The other two people in my group ordered a cheeseburger and a Mahi-Mahi sandwich and declared them delicious as well. All of the sandwiches were large and came with a very generous helping of steak fries and were served hot.The restaurant was very clean. The gentleman behind the counter was so courteous and delivered our food promptly. We really lucked out when we chose this establishment. I would highly recommend Bigfoot Bakery and Grill. Even if you’re not planning to go through Oakhurst, it’s worth going out of your way to enjoy a delicious meal!

You Officially Lost a Long-Time Local as Customer I am a long-time local resident, but this was my first visit to this business — and it will be my last. I recommend that both locals and tourists think twice before giving this establishment their patronage. The combination of dishonest practices and severely overpriced menu items is simply unacceptable. When several members of our party asked for water, we were told, “We legally are not allowed to serve water.” This claim is completely false. There is no statewide or local law in Oakhurst or Madera County prohibiting restaurants from serving water. Bigfoot Bakery has apparently been telling customers that Oakhurst water is contaminated and that they are legally unable to serve it. This misinformation has caused their customers to question employees at other local Oakhurst restaurants, asking why those places are serving water. (For the record, Oakhurst tap water meets all federal and state safety standards and is safe to drink.) As a result, we were pushed into buying one soda and one tea for an extra $10 — prices that are ridiculously inflated. My mother, who was already reluctant to eat here, ordered a burger. It arrived absolutely smothered in mayo and mustard — so much that her hands and the outside of the bun were drenched, requiring multiple napkins just to handle it. The excess condiments made me wonder if the kitchen was attempting to mask poor-quality meat or if this was simply the result of sloppy preparation. The Philly cheesesteak was equally disappointing. For such an exorbitant price, it should at least contain a generous amount of meat. It bore little resemblance to a proper Philly cheesesteak. I regret not taking photos. This experience left our entire group frustrated and overcharged. Businesses like this rely on customer trust and value — both of which were sorely missing here. What could have been a new regular spot is now permanently off our list
